This photographic series captures the subtle yet profound transitions that define a human life. From the tender grasp of a grandmother's hand guiding a child's first steps to the last breath of a grandpa blowing out birthday candles, "As Time Goes By" documents the universal rites of passage we all experience. Each black and white image captures a pivotal moment of growth, independence, or transformation: applying makeup for the first time, the first time shaving, the sacrifice of distance for work, and countless transformations in between. This collection illustrates the unspoken, raw transformations that shape us. I wanted to capture the most authentic version of themselves in the photo, so I didn't allow my models to "make themselves prettier for the camera." Revealing how life's most significant changes often occur in moments of beautiful, unassuming simplicity.
